Test automation for FusionChart charts

Dear All,

We need to build test automation scripts to test a website which uses FusionChart SWF Charts. The chart data needs to be verified against the database data. Please help by letting us know how to test the flash swf's charts produced by FusionChart.

To do this you would need to build your automation scripts.

 

 

 

There are two ways you can retrieve data from a chart..using its JavaScript API:

 

a) getXML()

 

getDataAsCSV()

 

 

 

These 2 functions would return chart data as string which you can verify with the data form your database.
