File extension in Export Component

I'm using FusionCharts to generate graphs for machine data for the factory I work for. It's a great product. Thanks!

 

 

 

I've got the Export Component running. I have one issue which is when a user saves as PDF/JPG the "Save As" dialog does not include the file extension. The system is used by a lot of various staff members with varying levels of computer expertise and I cannot rely on them to add the ".jpg" or ".pdf" extensions themselves. I noticed in your examples that the extensions are displayed. Am I missing something?

Could you please look at the usage of the exportShowMenuItem and exportFormats attributes in the <chart> element in the link below?

Please see if these are set properly and try again?

I've added the following to my chart tag and still do not get the file extension options:

exportShowMenuItem='1' exportFormats='JPEG=Export as JPEG|PDF=Export as PDF|PNG=Export as PNG'

I'm using the evaluation version on our development server.  Could this be why?
