Working Sample for MSCombi3D for Flash?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

New user - first time poster. Great, great Product, by the way.

Quick question: I am having some difficulty creating a Multi-Series, 3D Combi chart using Flash 8.

And I'm sure it's just because I'm an idiot.

Are there any "My First Chart" .FLA file examles that use the MSCombi3D chart format?  If such a thing exists, I'm sure I'll be able to have a look at it and figure out what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks!

Hi,

Welcome to the FusionCharts Forum.

If you are trying to make a web-based chart then you can follow the steps below to create your own chart :

Step1 : Place the following files in a new folder :

1. MSCombi3D.swf

2. FusionCharts.js

3. Combi3D.html

4. Combi3D.xml

Step 2: Make the necessary path changes in the HTML document

Step 3: Make changes in your Xml document as needed

You can also refer to the following link :

http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/ChartSS/Combi3D.html

I am also attaching a sample chart I made for you.

Hope this helps you.:)

Thanks so much for the reply, Madhumita, and for going to the trouble of attaching the files.

I am, however, working strictly in Flash, and am trying to create the chart in Flash 8.

What I was hoping for would be an .FLA project, or coding instructions for creating / calling on the MSCombi3D chart in Flash.

I've already read the instructions for FusionCharts and Flash, and have had success creating some of the other charts, hard-coding the XML in the project.  I just haven't had any luck with the 3D Combination charts for some reason, and would love it if I had an example to look at.

Thanks again for taking the trouble.
