Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Hi Alex, I am afraid, as of now, FusionCharts does not support the same. If the elements of the legend broke up into 2 lines. For example, in the attached image, the elements of the legend align center! However, as a work-around could you please try increasing the width of the chart so that all the legends get displayed in the same stright line? Hope this helps. alexhyx4801 Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Dear Basundhara In fact ,the number of my legends could increase to 35. It'll totally depend on how many series the user select. These 35 legends could not display in the same straight line even though I increase the width of the chart.:hehe: Could you find other means? Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted January 20, 2010 Hi Alex, I am afraid, in that case, the legends would get displayed in two different lines. As os now, FusionCharts supports the customization of the Legend position at two positions on the chart - below the chart (BOTTOM) and on the RIGHT side of the chart. Ref.- http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs?/ChartSS/MSLine.html Hope this helps.
Guest Madhumita Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Hello, When you will have 35 legend entities, the legend scroll bar will come into play, and you will not face such a huge issue. Please implement the chart with 35 datasets and do let us know if it works or not.
alexhyx4801 Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Dear Basundhara If the Legend position is at BOTTOM it will be handsome. Dear Madhumita When I have 35 legend entities, the legend scroll bar does not come into play. The legends get displayed in four different lines! Could you tell me to set which attribute to let the legend scroll bar come into play? By the way,has Rajroop Bhaduri left for other department? Please send my regards to him!I will miss him. srividya_sharma Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Rajroop is still around in the department. He is missing you all too. Based on the demand we are seeing for Rajroop from you and other users, I think we will ask him to be an "active participant" in the forums again. Votes please... Guest Madhumita Report post Posted January 21, 2010 Hey Alex, The scroll bar comes into play only if the legends cannot be accommodated in the chart. There is no way to invoke it using some attribute. What you can do is ingeniously change the chart width and height, and even paddings and margins on the chart to get them to display as you wish to. As of now, FusionCharts does not have the functionality to smartly control lables. Hopefully in our next version we will have these functionalities.
