friction Report post Posted May 27, 2010 As mentioned, is it possible to display the legend?? I really need to use it in single series. Tried with other charts (not from single series) and it does not look nice. Thanks
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted May 27, 2010 Hi, In multi-series / combination charts of FusionCharts Suite, the series name of each data-set shows up in the legend of the chart. This helps you relate a data plot to its series name using its color. The legend does not appear for single-series charts because there is only one series in the chart. In case you wish to display a tabular format of the Single-Series charts, please try using the SSGrid.swf file of the Charts folder of the FusionCharts pack. Please note, in this case you can use the same XML data that you are using to render the single-series chart or you can use different XML data depending on your need. Ref.- FusionCharts_Pack --> Charts --> SSGrid.swf Also, please refer to the sample that we are sending you as an attachment. Hope this helps. friction Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Thanks for the suggestion. Is there any way to customize the content displayed in SSGrid? I want to have a legend to indicate what the color in the column3D represents.
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted June 3, 2010 Hi, In case you wish to customize the color of the datalabels of the SSGrid chart, please try applying styles on the datalabels object using the 'font' attribute. In case you wish to customize the color of the dataplots of the SSGrid chart please try setting the value for the 'color' attribute in the <set> element. Hope this helps. friction Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Thank you for the help. It was enlightening. I was wondering is there any way to change the text that is displayed on the SSGrid? I want it to display other words instead of those from the x-axis. Your help is highly appreciated. Thanks.
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Hi, Thanks for your appreciation. In case you wish to change the datalabels for the SSGrid chart, please try changing the datalabels of the XML file that you are using for the SSGrid chart. Please note, in this case you need to maintain two separate XML files for two charts(normal chart and the SSgrid chart). Hope this helps.
friction Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Thanks for the reply. Is it possible to change the color of the x axis name separately?? Example:xaxisname: Item A,B,C. I want A to be red, B to be black and C to be blue. Is it possible to do that?? Thanks
Guest Basundhara Ghosal Report post Posted June 7, 2010 Hi, I am afraid, as of now, FusionCharts does not support this. In case you apply 'Styles' on the 'DataLabels' object it would get applied to all the datalabels present in the chart globally. Hope this helps.
