jenz Report post Posted October 5, 2007 We are capturing end-user answers which we'd like to post within a bar or column chart. Currently, the bar/column charts show the average results from multiple users per category, and we just want to indicate where the current user would appear within the total average results. Currently, I'm showing the user's answer as a separate bar/column, but it's not adequate as their answer is only equal to one unit (compared to 100 units average or so per category in the full results). Is there a way to show an indicator or something similar next to the category or someplace within the chart (i'm thinking similar to how a point from an XY plot chart would show) where the user would appear if they were part of the total results? Do you have a combination chart that would do this?
Pallav Report post Posted October 9, 2007 Hi, Can you just make a rough sketch of how you want the chart to look?
jenz Report post Posted October 22, 2007 it could be something as simple as the attached, doesn't have to be a star, and doesn't have to appear within the bar. It could appear as a separate line or next to the appropriate category too. Thank you -
Pallav Report post Posted October 24, 2007 Would trend lines (as explained at http://www.fusioncharts.com/docs/Contents/AttDesc/Trend.html) work for you?
