geedeveloper Report post Posted February 17, 2012 A current problem we face with fusion charts. It seems charts rendered outside the browser view don't get captured when exported to an image file. Just wondered is there a workaround for this? Once again this is using IE7 and Flash Player 10.3.181.26. Thanks in advance.
Guest Sumedh Report post Posted February 20, 2012 Greetings, Please note that, natively there is no solution to the issue of exporting the charts which are not in the viewable portion of the browser and needs to be scrolled to view and rendered. However, we have found out a work-around to this issue. A "scroll.js" file when included in the chart folder would make the browser scroll till the bottom and then go up to allow all the charts to be rendered. This would alternately let all the charts be exported when the function is called. Please send us a request at [email protected] in case you would like to try the "scroll.js" file. Hope this helps. rvats Report post Posted May 1, 2012 We are facing a similar issue: This only started happening after upgrading to FusionCharts XT (we are on SR3). On IE8, if there are charts which are not in the viewable area, batch export process takes a very long time (in minutes) to call back FC_ExportReady . The export works after that with the following behaviour: 1) If I scroll down and then back, and then export, the export works correctly 2) If I don't scroll at all, and then export, the export works, but there are labels missing from the exported charts. Is there a possible fix for this issue. This seems to work fine on Chrome.
