Klakurka Report post Posted April 2, 2021 Hi, It was just pointed out to us that upon upgrading to a newer version of FusionCharts, Taiwan is now included as being part of China. Is there a version with Taiwan as a separate country? This should probably be the default since most of your customers are likely residing outside of mainland China. Klakurka Report post Posted May 1, 2021 Without a solution for this, we can't upgrade our maps to the latest anymore.

Klakurka Report post Posted June 6, 2021 Hi there, Sure, I can provided images. At some point, Taiwan (as well as HK and Macau) was merged into mainland China as a single country in the FusionMaps "maps/worldwithcountries" (and possibly others as well but we haven't checked). Most countries outside of China consider Taiwan to be a completely separate country and showing them together as one is politically a problem for those residing outside of China or who have audiences outside of China (which is most people). Before the change: After the change: Most countries are fine rolling HK and Macau into mainland China, but doing the same for Taiwan is a problem. If you're experiencing pressure from mainland China to keep it that way (like many companies who have business in China are), at least giving customers the option to have them display separately should still be an option as that's certainly the larger market of the two. If you need more info let me know.
Ayan Bhadury Report post Posted June 7, 2021 Taiwan is still not considered a specific entity as per Wikipedia as of now: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_and_dependencies_by_area Please share a Wikipedia link where Taiwan is marked separately in a world with countries map. Also please share your license details for further technical assistance.
Klakurka Report post Posted June 10, 2021 We can just use the wiki page link you provided. From that same wiki page, you can see that Taiwan is listed uniquely at #142: . You can also see the different coloring on the map from that same wiki page: Order reference # for last license renewal: 143563019
