Clearing drill down charts

I have a top level column chart that I drill into a 2nd column chart based on the column I click on.

I have a 3rd column chart that is populated by clicking a column in the 2nd column chart.

If I click a different column in my top level chart, the 2nd column chart updates accordingly.

Is there a way to clear the 3rd column chart the op level chart (or 2nd level chart) changes so that no data is displayed until a column in the 2nd level chart is again clicked?

When clicking the column of the first level chart, please set the XML of the third chart to <chart>>/chart> using setDataXML().
