Apostrophe in Caption/SubCaption?

Recommended Posts

Can I have apostrophes in captions and/or subcaptions?

Example subcaption (ignore the spaces):

today& apos ;s

yesterday& apos ;s

And I'm getting an error message -- invalid XML.

I'm using MSCombi2D.swf.

Help?

I think that is not an acceptable solution to the problem encountered by the original poster.

That's like saying I'm getting an error sending an email that has some text and you telling the user to send the file through FTP instead.

This post is old, so maybe the newer versions of the dataXML will support encoding the apostrophe? I need to allow for them and I need to use the dataXML approach because we dynamically generate it based on some server logic. Posting this to a URL and then have the chart download it is not a viable option.

Thanks,

Jose
