tess271 Report post Posted July 13, 2007 Can I have apostrophes in captions and/or subcaptions? Example subcaption (ignore the spaces): today& apos ;s yesterday& apos ;s And I'm getting an error message -- invalid XML. I'm using MSCombi2D.swf. Help? -- Sandy
Pallav Report post Posted July 16, 2007 Please use dataURL method and directly provide apostrophe mark.
mineful Report post Posted July 22, 2009 I think that is not an acceptable solution to the problem encountered by the original poster. That's like saying I'm getting an error sending an email that has some text and you telling the user to send the file through FTP instead. This post is old, so maybe the newer versions of the dataXML will support encoding the apostrophe? I need to allow for them and I need to use the dataXML approach because we dynamically generate it based on some server logic. Posting this to a URL and then have the chart download it is not a viable option. Thanks, Jose
IDForums Report post Posted July 22, 2009 subCaption='Today& apos ;s' Ignore spaces. I used the same in my chart and it worked!
